We are delighted to announce that our salon is reopening with comprehensive new measures in place to protect the health and safety of both our clients and our staff. These changes are necessary and much thought and careful planning has been put in to arranging them and your cooperation is much appreciated.
As you can imagine, we have a huge backlog and waiting list for appointments. We intend to work long hours, but please be patient with us – we promise to get to everyone and contact them to make bookings!
We have had to put a cancellation policy in place and we need at least 48 hours notice if you want to change your booking. We are also requesting a 50% non-refundable deposit on all appointments (in case of no shows).
All clients are requested to fill in our booking form ahead of their appointment. It is available to download here. However, please don’t worry if you cannot access it as we will have forms available in the salon.
Please turn up exactly on time for your appointment – not too early and certainly not late. We do not have a waiting area, so make sure that our reception desk is free before entering the salon (only one person and our receptionist can be at the desk at any time). If you are early, please inform us by phone and wait in your car and we will let you know by phone or text message when we are ready for you. On entering the salon, you are required to sanitise your hands at our sanitisation station. You will be given a basket on arrival to place your coat and handbag in, which you will keep with you throughout your visit. Your stylist will then accompany you to your seat.
All of our work stations will be thoroughly deep cleaned in between each appointment.
We will be taking the temperatures of our staff members on their arrival to the salon to start their shifts and we may need to take the temperatures of clients if it is deemed necessary. Please do not attend the salon if you are feeling unwell – simply contact us to rearrange your booking.
Our staff members will wear face masks and we ask that our clients also agree to wear face masks that we will provide (a €3 surcharge will apply – subject to ongoing review – this fee also covers all additional costs that we have incurred in implementing our comprehensive health and safety protocols). However, please note that we have not increased our salon prices. We reserve the right of refusal to serve a client that declines to wear a mask and we can also provide any other necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
At the end of your visit (when your hair is looking great!), we will provide a pedal bin for you to dispose of your face mask or you are welcome to take it with you. We can no longer provide magazines, but you can bring your own and take them home again.
Our staff have been working very hard behind the scenes for months now in order to safely reopen when official permission was granted and we hope that you appreciate and follow all of the required procedures that we have put in place.
This World Health Organisation (WHO) video and HSE poster has useful information about the correct putting on and wearing of face masks and this HSE video explains recommended hand washing procedures. You are also invited to view our new Client Charter here.
Lastly, we cannot wait to welcome you back and our sincere thanks to you all for your continued patience and support. Our hard-working and talented team of staff are looking forward to pampering you in the safest environment possible…
